Shakey's Hoop Dreams Foundation was established to honor his legacy and carry forward the thing he cared about most: giving kids a place on the court and a reason to keep showing up. For Shakey, basketball was never just a game — it was mentorship, discipline, belonging, and a path forward for young people who needed one.
Every dollar raised supports basketball-related community giving in his name — equipment and court access for under-resourced youth programs, league fees and scholarships, clinics and mentorship, court restoration.
The goal is simple: keep the gym doors open and the dreams alive for the next generation of players Shakey would have been proud to coach.
